NEW YORK, March 31, 2009 — Gutenberg Communications, a global, strategic communications firm offering public and investor relations services, today announced that Loretta Ucelli, former Assistant to the President and Director of White House Communications for President Bill Clinton, will consult with the firm on its communications programs as they continue to expand across industries. Acting as senior advisor, Ucelli brings a wealth of strategy and development expertise that will enable new and existing clients to build globally-recognized brands.

Prior to her role at the White House, Ucelli was the Associate Administrator for Communications, Education and Public Affairs with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) where she led efforts to transform the EPA’s overall communications strategy. More recently, she was Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications at Pfizer Inc., the world’s largest research-based pharmaceutical company. She also served as Executive Vice President for Communications and External Relations at Columbia University and oversaw the institution’s government and community relations programs.
